Lifetime Buyback Policy

At Ophira, we believe that your diamond jewellery should always retain real, tangible value. That’s why we offer a Lifetime Buyback Policy, designed to be simple, secure, and transparent.

Buyback Value Calculation

When you choose to return your jewellery under our buyback policy, the refund will be calculated as follows:

  • Gold & Platinum: 100% of the metal weight value at the prevailing market rate*
  • Diamonds: 80% of the prevailing diamond value*
  • Gemstones, Silver, and Other Materials: 80% of the prevailing value*
  • Making Charges, Other Charges & GST: No buyback value

If any discount was applied during the original purchase on metal or diamond value, that amount will be deducted from the buyback amount.

Note: This policy is applicable for jewellery with an invoice value of up to ₹5,00,000.

How to Request a Buyback

To initiate a buyback, please email us at support@ophira.in with the following details:

  • Invoice number
  • Photos & videos of the jewellery
  • IGI certificate or diamond authenticity document
  • Preferred pickup date
  • Full pickup address with contact number
  • Bank account details for the refund

Pickup & Packaging Instructions

Once your request is reviewed and preliminarily verified:

  • Our team will confirm eligibility by email
  • A secure pickup will be scheduled by our logistics partner
  • A ₹1,000 shipping fee will apply to all buyback pickups

Please pack the jewellery securely in its original box, along with the certificate and invoice, and ensure the packaging is opaque and tamper-proof.

If you choose to send the jewellery via your own courier, Ophira will not be responsible for any loss or damage during transit.

Inspection & Refund Process

Once received, your jewellery will undergo a quality check and diamond authentication, including verification of the Unique Identification Number (UIN).

If approved, we will issue a Buyback Refund Note.

The buyback amount will be credited to your bank account within 10 working days of the refund note issuance.

Non-Eligible Items

Jewellery will not qualify for buyback if:

  • It has been damaged, altered, or repaired
  • It does not match the original UIN or certificate
  • It fails the quality verification process

In such cases, the jewellery will be returned to you.
Ophira’s quality assessment is final and binding.

Policy Conditions

  • This buyback policy is not applicable on international orders
  • Ophira reserves the right to update or amend this policy. Any changes for individual customers will be communicated prior to purchase
